Here are a few tips that will protect you against phishing or hacking attempts.
- Enable two-factor authentication for your account. This protects you when someone finds your password. With two-factor authentication enabled, it is not possible to log in to your account if someone knows only your password. Remember to write down the backup codes, preferably on paper, in case you lose your codes.
- Remember to use a strong password, one with at least 10 characters of letters, symbols and lower and uppercase. To make it easier to remember difficult passwords we recommend you use a password manager such as Bitwarden or Last Pass.
- Do not use the same password on other websites and do not give your password to other people, even your friends or family as they could be hacked too.
