With the exception of some specific deposit and withdrawal methods it is possible to use the majority of Bitspark's services without formally verifying your account information.
When do I need to verify my account?
You will only need to verify your account when you:
- Deposit/withdraw any amount of any currency to one of Bitspark's nominated bank accounts (business platform only).
- Deposit/withdraw physical cash in any currency to one of Bitspark's vault locations (business platform only).
All other functions can be conducted without verification, including sending balances to other Bitspark users, as well as exchanging between national currencies and cryptocurrencies.
What documents are required to verify my account?
If you wish to verify your account, you will need to provide:
- A legible copy of your personal ID, being either a national identity card, or a passport.
How do I verify my account?
You can provide the verification documents within the 'account details' section of your account, accessible via the top right-hand menu, or via the 'verify now' link in the same menu.
What happens next?
Once you have submitted your verification documents, the Bitspark team will review them. If they are readable and correct, your account will be verified, and you will be able to withdraw and deposit in line with the above requirements.
